This Privacy Policy describes how BuildPro ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the BuildPro mobile application. By using the App you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide the App's features.
Account When you sign in with Google, we receive your:
- Display name
- Email address
- Profile photo URL
- Google UID (unique account identifier)
App data Data you create inside the App is stored in your account and includes:
- Quotations and bill drafts (items, quantities, prices)
- Work tasks (party name, trade category, work items, status, dates)
- Payment records (party name, amounts, payment status)
- Notes and voice recordings linked to tasks or quotations
- Price book customisations and preferred price levels
Device permissions The App may request:
- Microphone – only when you choose to record a voice note. Recordings are uploaded to your private storage folder and are never shared.
- Internet – required to sync data with your Firebase account.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate you and associate your data with your account.
- Store and retrieve quotations, tasks, payments, and notes across devices.
- Generate PDF bill previews from your saved quotation data.
- Display your name and profile photo in the App interface.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the App for you.
3. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage), secured by Firebase Security Rules so that only your authenticated account can read or write your data. Voice recordings are stored in a private Cloud Storage path accessible only to your account. Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS at all times.
We do not operate our own servers and we do not store your data on any third-party infrastructure outside of Google Firebase.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage) – firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google Sign-In – policies.google.com/privacy
We do not integrate any analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or other third-party SDKs beyond the above.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party, except as required by law or as inherent in using the Firebase services listed above.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained in Firebase for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records (quotations, tasks, payments, notes) at any time from within the App.
To request complete deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at ramjikathi@gmail.com. We will process the request within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
BuildPro is intended for business use by adults (contractors and tradespeople). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent (by deleting your account).

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
